From 2014-2018 she maintained an active teaching studio of young beginners to adult amateurs in Tucson, AZ - with students winning principal chairs in local youth orchestras and placing favorably in college admissions. As a teaching artist, Cat works with Youth Orchestra Los Angeles at Heart of Los Angeles (YOLA at HOLA) and Torres (YOLA at Torres) as a frequent substitute. She can be found teaching oboe, recorder, clarinet, and other woodwinds as needed. Cat has worked with students of all ages through educational outreach programs with the Tucson Symphony, the San Diego Symphony, Huntsville Symphony, and as part of the Terry Barber Trio.
